My connection with Cheikh began in 2020 when he offered me my first significant platform in Senegal, inviting me to open for his concert with my One Man Tribe solo act. This gesture of recognition from such an established figure marked a turning point in my Senegalese musical journey.
Shortly after, he welcomed me to his home with full "Terranga", the Senegalese concept of hospitality that carries profound cultural significance. During that intimate session at his residence, we formed a bond that laid the foundation for a musical collaboration set to emerge in 2025.
