Savanna Road is a raw, solo exploration of the xalam - the ancient West African string instrument whose voice carries deep roots in the source of the blues, tracing back to the Gao region of Mali. Improvised and unfiltered, the piece unfolds like an open journey.

Subtle background vocals rise in the choruses, like distant calls that bring you home, while the xalam keeps moving forward. Delicate touches of effects add a psychedelic edge, yet the essence remains pure: one instrument, one traveler, guided by the spirit of the journey.
